Iryna Krapivka

My name is Iryna Krapivka, and I am a Piano and Music theory teacher (MA Degree). 
 

I have been playing the piano from 4 years of age. I come from a family of professional musicians and composers and music always has been my passion and inevitable part of my life. 
 

I am absolutely in love with the classical music. Its harmony and purity makes me feel complete and alive. However, it’s not the only kind of music my heart belongs to. I am a fan of jazz music. I like listening to Miles Davis, George Benson, Charlie Parker, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and many other great jazz musicians. I also like the music of Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds who are known for their classical and electronic music combination and unconventional approach to the piano.
 

Teaching is a wonderful journey and experience for both - student and a teacher. I am trying to help my students understand music and help them see the beauty and depth of playing the instrument. It is essential to me to find an individual approach and educate true professionals in Music.
